Hi.
I just wanted to let you all know, that our phone-provider has made a dodo and somehow accidentally cancelled our contract.
This means that our phone-number in Denmark: +45 8888 7800 (And all local extensions on that number) is down for the time being.
We are working hard on getting the contract and the phones back up, and will let you know when a resolution has been found.
I just wanted to let you all know that we lost our internet connection here at Smartlaunch HQ this morning.
We are working on a solution, but we might not get it fixed before tuesday.
What does this mean for you?
If you are running a café:
You won’t have any trouble authorizing your Smartlaunch server, as the autorisation server is located elsewhere.
If you have submitted a support ticket:
We cannot answer your ticket or e-mails before the connection is online again.
If you need to call us:
Our phones are Ip-based, so you will not be able to reach us.
We appologize for any inconveniance that this may have for your business.
Oh, if you are wondering, this blog was written from my iphone.
C. S. Lewis once said: “It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad.”
And he was right. We would like to fly, but we won’t be able to unless we first get rid of the hard shell that has been covering us.
Many of you have met this shell in the form of missing or delayed response when seeking support for Smartlaunch.
Most of you have met this shell in the form of a lack of presence on the official forums.
So we have decided that this should no longer be the case.
We want to do whatever we can to make as big an impact as possible on the support issues.
That is why we are going to reinvent our support efforts during the next couple of weeks.
As some of you have noticed, we have already begun answering threads on the forum and tickets on the support site, and we will keep doing this for as long as it takes.
We won’t rest until we have done everything in our power to solve any issues that you might have with the software.
Furthermore we will try to keep this blog up to date with information about what we do here at Smartlaunch and what kind of projects you might see in the near and far future.
We hope that you will benefit from this new strategy, and we hope to hear any feedback that you might have.
So keep your eyes open on the forums and please don’t hesitate to submit a ticket on the support site if you have any issues.
We want to fly, and we want to bring you along for the ride!
